Another episode, means another eviction and so the saga continues.
In the latest episode, we saw housemates pair up as they were forced to spend time inside a cardboard box… the idea seems familiar but I can’t think of where from. Jokes aside, following a task that lacked the charm and humor of the UK episode from which it took inspiration, Dan and Mat emerged victorious and won a luxury meal for 2. They were then asked to choose a second pairing to join them and they chose Angela and Xavier.
Next up was the nomination challenge, each housemate had to stack boxes horizontally against a target. If the stack collapsed on they failed to place their next box within 30 seconds, the housemate was eliminated. It was a tense and hard-fought battle which came down to Shane vs Mat, with Mat clinching the victory at the last second.

As the winner, Mat earned the power to nominate and chose to put Angela, Marissa and Mat on the block, a move that wasn’t very popular given the alliance he and Dan were supposed to have forged earlier in the episode with Angela and Xavier.
Following the house vote, Shane recieved 6 votes and was therefore evicted from the house. Angela received 5 and narrowly escaped eviction, whilst Marissa received 0 votes.
It looks like time could be running out for Australia’s sweetheart! Will she get the chop next?
Big Brother continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on Channel 7.
