Channel 7 have today revealed the third housemate to take part in the new series of Big Brother Australia – makeup artist and fitness expert Marissa Rancan!
Marissa is this series’ oldest housemate at the age of 61, and she’s not a stranger to the spotlight.
Marissa and her twin sisters brought aerobics to Australia each morning in the ’80s. Together they became known as The Rancan Sisters.
Marissa says that she is ready to play hard to win, and will take her husband John on holiday if she manages to win the grand prize.
So far, Big Brother has officially announced three of the new housemates – Mat, Daniel and now Marissa!
There will be a total of 20 Housemates aged 19-62 who represent a broad range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
For the first time in the history of Big Brother Australia, it won’t be the public who decides who goes each week.
Instead of the public deciding, housemates will evict each other after taking part in ‘Nomination Challenges’
Big Brother Australia begins in June on Channel 7.
